Microsoft: "You'll still have access to your subscription and all its benefits until it expires." (turn-recurring-billing page). If the first paid month has already been charged: "you're entitled to a refund of your most recent recurring billing charge" "if you cancel your subscription within 30 days after payment" (once per account per product). For Premium in the US/UK: "To receive a prorated refund, cancel within 14 days of initial purchase."; Canada: prorated refund at any time (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/subscriptions/microsoft-subscription-refund-policy).
