Questions
- Is Galaxy AI free?
- Samsung says its basic Galaxy AI features are free: the ones it lists under "Advanced intelligence", such as Call assist, Writing assist, Photo assist, Interpreter, Note assist and Audio eraser. It says future enhanced features or new services may be paid, and that AI from other companies, such as Google's Gemini, has its own terms. Samsung's current US and India pages give no end date.
- Does Galaxy AI stop being free after 2025?
- Samsung's product pages no longer say so. At the Galaxy S25 launch in January 2025, Samsung said Galaxy AI would be free "until the end of 2025", and some of its support pages in India and the UAE still repeat that date. Its current Galaxy AI pages in the US and India say the basic features are free, with no end date.
