When it ends, your account goes back to the free plan. Nothing is charged.
Singtel's terms say the free year simply expires and the account returns to free unless you choose to pay; they also let you cancel before the Expiry Date "such that it does not automatically renew". Perplexity's partner-promotions help article says "A valid credit or debit card is required for all promotional and trial redemptions." and that, unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription auto-renews at the standard rate. It is a general rule, not these offer terms. If you added a card when Perplexity asked, check Settings > Subscription before your expiry date.
How to cancel
Web (perplexity.ai)
- Sign in with the email you used to redeem the code, then go to Settings and scroll to "Subscription" under Perplexity Pro.
- Click "Manage Subscription".
- On the current plan page, choose "Cancel subscription".
- Open "Manage Subscription" again to check the plan now shows as cancelled.
iPhone / iPad (App Store)
- Open the App Store and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap "Subscriptions", then "Perplexity - Ask Anything".
- Choose "Cancel subscription".
Android (Google Play)
- Open Google Play and tap the settings icon (top right).
- Tap "Payments & Subscriptions", then "Perplexity - Ask Anything".
- Choose "Cancel subscription" at the bottom of the screen.
Carrier and partner codes are redeemed on the web, so the web steps usually apply. Deleting your Perplexity account does not cancel the subscription.
