Conflicting. Telekom's in-app guide reportedly said the free year would not renew (Telekom hilft user, Feb 2025) and mydealz said it ends automatically; Notebookcheck's own account converted to paid on Feb 13 2026, and Perplexity's general promo terms say promotional subscriptions auto-renew at the standard rate unless cancelled.
How to cancel
Web (perplexity.ai) — where partner-promo billing runs
- Sign in at perplexity.ai and open Settings.
- Scroll to "Subscription" under Perplexity Pro.
- Click "Manage Subscription", then choose "Cancel subscription".
- Cancel before deleting your account: deleting the account does not end the subscription.
