Telepolis (23 Apr 2026) reports a reader charged 988 zł for an annual Perplexity Pro plan when her T-Mobile free year ended, with no email or in-app warning; Spider's Web (17 Oct 2025) says a payment method had to be attached to claim. T-Mobile's own blog says nothing about renewal. Early-2025 press said the plan would end automatically; user reports no longer match that.

How to cancel

Web (perplexity.ai)

  1. Sign in with the email you used to redeem the code, then go to Settings and scroll to "Subscription" under Perplexity Pro.
  2. Click "Manage Subscription".
  3. On the current plan page, choose "Cancel subscription".
  4. Open "Manage Subscription" again to check the plan now shows as cancelled.

iPhone / iPad (App Store)

  1. Open the App Store and tap your profile icon (top right).
  2. Tap "Subscriptions", then "Perplexity - Ask Anything".
  3. Choose "Cancel subscription".

Android (Google Play)

  1. Open Google Play and tap the settings icon (top right).
  2. Tap "Payments & Subscriptions", then "Perplexity - Ask Anything".
  3. Choose "Cancel subscription" at the bottom of the screen.

Carrier and partner codes are redeemed on the web, so the web steps usually apply. Deleting your Perplexity account does not cancel the subscription.
