How to cancel

Web (perplexity.ai) — where partner-promo billing runs

  1. Sign in at perplexity.ai and open Settings.
  2. Scroll to "Subscription" under Perplexity Pro.
  3. Click "Manage Subscription", then choose "Cancel subscription".
  4. Cancel before deleting your account: deleting the account does not end the subscription.

PayPal (website)

  1. Log in to paypal.com and go to "Settings", then "Payments".
  2. Select "Subscriptions and saved businesses" (or "Automatic Payments").
  3. Select Perplexity and cancel the automatic payment on that page.

Venmo app

  1. Open Venmo settings and find Connected Businesses.
  2. Select Perplexity and disconnect it.

Stopping PayPal or Venmo payments only removes the payment method; also cancel on perplexity.ai so the plan itself ends.

iPhone / iPad (App Store) — only if you pay through Apple

  1. Open the App Store and tap your profile icon (top right).
  2. Tap "Subscriptions", then "Perplexity - Ask Anything".
  3. Choose "Cancel subscription".

Android (Google Play) — only if you pay through Google Play

  1. Open the Google Play app and tap the settings icon (top right).
  2. Tap "Payments & Subscriptions", then "Perplexity - Ask Anything".
  3. Choose "Cancel subscription" at the bottom of the screen.

Refunds and what you keep
