Google says Gemini Omni will replace Veo in the Gemini app. Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash makes 10-second videos with sound and can edit videos. Google Flow still offers Veo 3.1 alongside Gemini Omni, and Google says all users can use the Gemini Omni models there.
Flow charges credits per video, not per request, and some requests make two videos. For an 8-second clip Google lists 12 credits for Gemini Omni Flash at 720p (all users), 20 for Veo 3.1 Fast (subscribers other than Ultra) and 100 for Veo 3.1 Quality. At 12 credits, 50 free credits a day cover about four 8-second Gemini Omni clips. Google's table doesn't say whether people without a plan can choose Veo.
Unused daily credits don't carry over to the next day, and unused monthly plan credits don't carry over to the next month.
Flow and the Google AI plans are for people 18 and over. Google lists both India and the United States among the countries where Flow is available.
